Great to see six Young Dragons representing Norwich High School for Girls at Oxford Hawks HC in the under 15s GDST Tournament on Wednesday.  Esme, Lucy, Zara, Rachel, Arabella and Anja all played extremely well and congratulations to Rachel for being voted player of the tournament by the coaches.

The girls narrowly missed out on a place in the semi finals, having a slow start in their first game (understandable with such an early start leaving Norwich at 5.30am) losing 1-0 to a strong Newcastle side, the eventual winners of the Group.  The girls then woke up and won all games after that, beating Sutton 1-0 with the goal from Rachel.  Norwich then took on hosts Oxford winning 2-0 with both goals extremely well taken by Lucy.  The girls saved their best until last, with a 4-0 victory over Blackheath with two goals from Grace, one from Issy and one from Anja, however Newcastle, having won 3 games a drawn 1, went through ahead of Norwich.
