The highlight of the first league week of the 2024-25 Season has to be our 10 Girls Development players (12 & 13 year olds) playing their first adult team game and winning 7-1 away to UEA 5s! There can’t be many occasions when the students come up against a team full of even younger students!!
“With Watton unable to fulfill the dev girls fixture, our intrepid youngsters filled the vacant Ladies 8th Team slot.
Ten brave young ladies agreed to play and performed brilliantly to record a win.
Tessa scored 4 and Zoe the other 3.
Everyone of them should be proud of themselves stepping in and gaining some valuable experience.
A big thank you to all parents for getting the girls there and a particular shout out to Fiona and Ida for looking after the team.
