It is with deep regret that we report the death this week of Peter Hogg in Adelaide. Peter moved to Australia last year with his partner Jenny.
An ex Zimbabwe international, Peter moved to the UK and played for Norwich Exiles, Cambridge City, Harleston Magpies and Dereham as well as Norfolk. He also had spells coaching at Ipswich, Manchester and most recently with Dereham.
Peter was an influential character with strong views, and was extremely passionate about the game of hockey, and how it should be played. As a coach, friend and mentor he was never happier than sat with players discussing the game and how they can improve. He had a great number of friends across Norfolk who will be deeply shocked by his passing. He will be sorely missed by many that had the pleasure to know him at Norwich Dragons and those in the wider hockey community.
Our condolences will be extended to Jenny, his mother and brother and the rest of his family on such a great loss.
