This quarter’s England Hockey Magazine looks at the benefits of clubs working with schools.  The work that Hazel, Mike B and Butts are doing with the local schools is featured and praised.

It is great to hear that we are slowly growing the team of volunteers going into local schools.  Susan Henderson and Richard Lee Warder have now joined the school coaching team, Ally Windsor-Waite is providing hockey coaching at Trowse Primary School and Rowie is helping get some hockey lined up for Cavell Road School.

In addition to the sessions provided at the schools, the Club hosts tournaments for the Norwich and South Norfolk SSPs for both Quicksticks and In2hockey, two great initiatives to engage youngsters in hockey.

Anyone interested in getting involved with the schools, please get in touch, this is a great way to spread the word and we are always looking to extend our school work.
