On Thursday 28th February, the current holders (winners for three consecutive years) of the Police Sport UK Knockout Cup, the team from the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) come to the Den to take on last year’s beaten Plate finalists Norfolk Police.  The Norfolk team includes our Ladies 1s Captain Marie James and Ladies 1s forward Laura Shreeve.

Anyone wishing to come and cheer on our local team should head down to the pitch for a 12pm push-back.  The match is 35 minutes each way, then if the scores even, 20 minutes of golden goal and then if still even, it goes to flicks, at which point Norfolk will really fancy their chances given the Dragons girls are lethal flickers!

Marie and Laura were also selected for the British Police Ladies Hockey Squad last season, they are pictured below with the rest of the squad in May 2012.
