Boys through to Regional Finals

Congratulations to the Under 12 Boys and Under 10 Boys who will represent the Club at Harleston in the Regional Finals in April.

Under 12 Boys (pictured above) won the County Champs on Sunday at Kings Lynn with wins over Pelicans (3-0, Dani Martinez-Long hatrick), Norwich City (1-0, Jono Chaney-Baxter) and a 0-0 draw with Magpies. The Boys play in the Regional Finals on Saturday 26th April

Under 10 Boys finished runners up in the County Tournament today. Beat Pelicans 6-0, Magpies 1-0, drew with City 1-1 & lost narrowly to the winners Dereham. Their Regional Finals are on Sunday 27th April.

Internal Club Competition for the Dragon’s Hoof Trophy

The Hoof is designed to provide a bit of intra club competition/fun regardless of the level each team plays at and also an additional incentive on Saturday over and above the actual fixture. It is run as a league table for all the teams in the club.

Points are awarded as follows:

3 points for a win

1 point for a draw

1 point for a clean sheet

1 point for every 3 goals the team scores in a game

The league table positions are based on a team’s game average (e.g. total number of points / number of games)

Games included are friendlies and league games played between the start of the season and the awards night. Games not included are tournaments or those outside of the allotted season or those conceded by either team.
