Adult Team Coaching Sessions for 2022-23

With summer hockey finishing and just about missing the heat we are now ready to commence our program of Adult training starting on the 2nd of August.

Training sessions are nearly all in Pitchero but for those who are interested , turned off all notifications or are new to the club they are as follows:

Tuesday 2nd August

Ladies 1/2s 7.30 to 9.30PM

Ladies 3s – 6s 6.30 to 8.00PM (for August only – September will be communicated individually)

Wednesday 3rd August

Mens 1/2s 7.30 to 9.30PM

Ladies 7s-8s 6.30 to 8.00PM (for August only – Sept onwards will be normal start time of 7.30PM)

Please note

Men’s Club Training for 3s – 7s will start on Thursday the 18th of August 7.30 to 9.00 PM

Internal Club Competition for the Dragon’s Hoof Trophy

The Hoof is designed to provide a bit of intra club competition/fun regardless of the level each team plays at and also an additional incentive on Saturday over and above the actual fixture. It is run as a league table for all the teams in the club.

Points are awarded as follows:

3 points for a win

1 point for a draw

1 point for a clean sheet

1 point for every 3 goals the team scores in a game

The league table positions are based on a team’s game average (e.g. total number of points / number of games)

Games included are friendlies and league games played between the start of the season and the awards night. Games not included are tournaments or those outside of the allotted season or those conceded by either team.
