The annual Norwich Dragons Hockey Club Under 8 Tournament was held at the Den on Saturday 17th May, with teams travelling from Spalding in Lincolnshire, Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk and Taverham to join the Dragons teams in the event.
The tournament was played on a very hot and sunny day. Seven teams entered which is the most we’ve had so far and it was particularly welcome to see the two teams from outside the County.
The whole day was extremely well organised and was a brilliant introduction to competition hockey for many young Dragon’s (and their parents).
Well done and thanks to all who contributed to make this such a successful and enjoyable day.
Great weather, great turn out, great atmosphere, great cakes! Photos here.

Whilst fantastic that Dragons Green won the tournament all three Dragons teams played good hockey, in the correct spirit and most importantly had fun. These youngsters do our club proud!!
