It is with great pleasure that we invite you to the 7th Annual Broadland Hockey Club Summer League.
The league, as usual, will run on Tuesday nights at Taverham High School, with games for both the Mens and Ladies leagues starting at 7pm on 29th April, and running till approximately mid-July.
ADULTS
The Ladies leagues will follow the same format as last year with 2 divisions. The 1st division is aimed at teams playing in Womens East division 2 and Norfolk Premier and the 2nd division is aimed at Norfolk divisions 1 – 3. You can enter your teams into whichever you like but we ask you to play fair and use appropriate players in each league.
I am hoping that we can get more entries into the Mens league this year and we will look to expand to 2 divisions if we get a good response. Places will be limited so please make sure you book in early, please indicate on your entry if you would like to be considered for a higher or lower division if enough entries are received. The league will be capped at Mens East Division 3 and below. No players from divisions 2 and above will be eligible to play.
Teams will be 7 a side and each team will need to provide an umpire where they are the first named side (there is only one umpire per match). There is no limit to the number of teams entering from each club but in the interest of fairness, we ask that you have separate squads for each team, with only goal keepers allowed to play for multiple teams.
DEVELOPMENT
We will also be running a Girls’ Development and Boys Development league. Any club with enough youngsters can enter a team. The rules will follow the Norfolk Development league but teams will be 7 a side, with only 1 adult allowed on the pitch at any one time. Please see your NHA handbook for details on eligibility. We will be running the league as a tournament on one evening.
ENTRY DETAILS
Entry is £95 per team for the Adult leagues, and £35 per team for the Development League.
