Ladies 1s draw 1-1 on the road to Wisbech. Some great build up play , but just lacking a little something in the attacking D.

East League, Men’s 3NE
Norwich Dragons Men’s 2s v Bury St Edmunds 2s: 3-2

Men’s 2s won 3-2 in an excellent performance that saw us bring back a crucial 3 points from Bury. The first half consisted of some great all round hockey which lead to us going 1-0 up through a well worked goal. Our good structure meant Bury were unable to break us down and we finished the half 1-0 up. At start of the second half, our lead doubled thanks to a drag flick short corner. However, Bury continued to press and we conceded shortly after. In the later stages of the second half we put away our 3rd goal, hitting Bury with a good counter attacking move. A tense last 10 minutes saw us concede again to bring the score to 3-2. Although thanks to some great defending we saw out the game for a well earned 3 points.

Men’s 4s have a good game with Bury. Bury well organised attack went 2 up but got pegged back with Alberto converting a short corner break down. After half time Dragons pulled another back via a p flick from Will Kirby. Excitement continued with a short corner for Bury after a few saves from Jamie. Dragons pulled it back with a great move from Isaac crossing for Adi Kemp to roll back the years. Bury closed out time with a short corner but will Ives closed out the threat. Great competitive game and good teas.
